“Pace lines into a crosswind can be very dangerous as riders try to take advantage of the draft and rather than alternate their offset to each side, they actually cascade out in a line, sometimes taking up 6-8 feet of roadway. This is no different than riding 2 or 3 or 4 abreast. Lots of you may be guilty of this and I want to remind you that even though you don't like it, we still have to stay in a single line.”
