Celebrate 50 years of History with NASA at a special temporary exhibit
September 11 through November 30
Alvin Historical Museum - 300 W. Sealy in Alvin
Have your picture taken in an actual space suit September 20 - October 4
Bring your camera
The exhibit features the engineering tools that took us to the moon, space suits,
large models of the space shuttle and Orbiter, space shuttle helmet, space food, items never before on public
display and more.
The museum is open 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. every Thursday, Friday and Saturday from September 11 through November 30 and
from 1-4 p.m. on the first Sunday of each month. Admission is $3.00; children younger than 12 admitted free with an adult.

The Alvin Rotary Foundation will host the 8th annual
Rotary Novemberfest on Saturday, November 10, 2012. Currently, the following events are planned to be part of Novemberfest:

Day-long activities include:
- Arts, Crafts & Collectibles Business Expo - Over 100 booths (*).
- Novemberfest Car and Bike Show
- Food
- Carnival Rides
- Local Entertainers
Proceeds from these activities will be used to maintain Alvin Rotary Park
